In a nutshell, I can confidently say that Coffee Chat is by far the best one I've ever had. She was like a mentor, giving advice about UX/UI, and also like a big sister, offering sincere advice. And that's the coffee chat I've really wanted to have for a long time.

At first, I discovered her on her blog and YouTube channel. When I watched and read about her journey in UX design, it was incredibly interesting to see that she started from the bottom, which resonates with my current situation.

I wasn't sure about moving abroad and had low confidence in starting a new journey in my life. However, as soon as she listened to my difficulties, she pointed out what I should really focus on for now. Even though it was just a coffee chat, I especially appreciated the advice she gave me about emphasizing my strengths on my portfolio. And that made me think about applying for other mentoring opportunities, such as a portfolio review.

Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for having such an inspiring mentor like her. Since I decided to pursue a new career, I had many questions and felt confused.

Despite searching and reaching out to others and communities for help, I felt like something was missing. I was looking for a mentor who had already walked the path that I wanted to take, and I found her on YouTube by chance. After watching her interview, I knew that she was the exact person I was looking for. I read all the articles she wrote on Branch and was able to gain more clarity on my new journey.

I got to know Vivi through her blog. It's a motivator for me. In Australia, jacaranda flowers are called exam flowers. They call it the "exam flower" because it blooms on exam day in Australia It's the same color as Vivi's identity.
